So, historical Aboriginals had a choice to either wear clothes or die from heat exhaustion? Doesn't sound like much of a 'choice' to me.
And THAT'S why I remain deny everyone that I'm a Christian, instead of a catholic. Because A) Catholics were first. B) It's just plain embarrassing.

I'm quite ashamed that someone who calls himself or herself Christian would be so ignorant. It reminds me of a quote I once heard from Ghandi: I like your Jesus but not your Christians. I hope you'll be able to meet some Christians who practice what they preach (tolerance, kindness, wisdom) some day.

Apparently this lady doesn't research the history of her own religion, because "sin" comes from a Hebrew word that means "falling short of the mark of G-d" NOT "an evil state of being." For the Hebrew peoples this is generally taught to mean humans are imperfect. (And this correction is coming from a Pagan, oh irony.)
And what does clothing have to do with modesty? It depends on what century and what culture you're talking about! Even just taking Christian culture into account, there are waaaay too many changes of clothing "modesty" to spout some wide generalization about other cultures. WTF
